Under the theme of ‘Learning Uncertainty,’ OEB GLOBAL 2017 will focus on the new age of uncertainty set to follow the period of accelerating change within which we currently find ourselves. Keynote speakers will assess the implications for society, and for the education sector in particular, of a new era defined by technology, globalisation, information and, above all, uncertainty.More than 2,300 participants from 100 countries are expected to take part in the event, along with over 80 international exhibitors.
The overall conference theme for this year will be “Learning Uncertainty”, addressing one of the defining characteristics of our age. We need to acknowledge uncertainty and prepare for it. We need to transform education, training and learning to equip businesses, organisations and individuals with the skills to survive and prosper in our new era.
