Our team at OEB Global (Online Educa Berlin) is extremely concerned about the recent spike in COVID-19 cases across many countries in the world including Germany. We had been hopeful that the spread of the pandemic could be controlled enough for us to host OEB Global in person in a way that accommodates a safe and healthy environment. Unfortunately, that will not be possible.
As such, we will be moving the OEB Global Experience online, and we have officially launched details for the OEB Global Virtual Experience on our website.
The OEB Global Virtual Experience will take place from Nov 30 – Dec 4 and deliver the content and connections you expect from us, including Plenary Keynotes, Learning Cafés, Global Snapshots, Panels and Debates, Presentations, Workshops, Connecting Conversations, Knowledge Exchange Circles, Fireside Chats as well as multiple opportunities to collaborate, connect and network.
We are committed to ensuring that the OEB Global Virtual Experience continues to serve the purpose it has always put at the forefront of its mission: to allow its community to learn, be inspired, engage, share, collaborate, meet and network. It is a platform for people with shared values and interests, and we will push through any obstacle to fulfill our mission to create these types of opportunities at our virtual event.
We are focusing on shifting the entire face-to-face OEB Global experience you have come to value over the past 25 years in such a way that our virtual experience will create new ways to connect, share, and extend the learning via the unique affordance of an innovative online platform. And what is more – each session will be recorded, allowing you to visit anything you missed in the months after the event, and offering you hours and hours of inspiring content.
Of course, we are disappointed that we will not be able to welcome you physically this year and meet face-to-face, but we are genuinely excited about what the virtual experience is able to offer and can’t wait to welcome you all online.
